Sierra Corporation Develops Centralized Digital Control Center for Maya Angelou Public Charter School

Sierra Corporation, an Information Technology solutions provider, announced today their imminent deployment of a complete student and faculty management system for Maya Angelou Public Charter School.

Maya Angelou Public Charter Schools came to Sierra with the goal of creating a centralized, secure IT infrastructure with which to manage their file servers, Blackberry clients, faculty and student logins, e-mail, and student records. Maya Angelou Public Charter Schools needed a solution that was easy to deploy, easy to manage, and above all, highly secure.

Sierra Corporation keeps itself ahead of the curve by rigorously testing new technology as it emerges, and was in a knowledgeable position to deploy a network using the new and improved Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Active Directory technologies, as well as implement an Enterprise-wide disaster recovery solution.
