Sierra Corporation Develops New Web Presence for Kawaiaha'o Church

Sierra Corporation is proud to announce our working affiliation with Kawaiaha'o Church.

Sierra Corporation is pleased to have been able to develop a new website and rich media services for Kawaiaha'o Church, in downtown Honolulu. "As citizens of Hawai'i, we are extremely happy to be able to give something back to the Hawaiian people, and to aid an institution with as much history and community involvement as Kawaiaha'o Church." said Rich Keating of Sierra Corporation.

Kawaiaha'o has had a website for some years, but was dissatisfied with their ability to engage both their congregation and the community at large to spread their message of love for one's neighbors. To aid in this goal, Sierra Corporation provided consulting and development services for Kawaiaha'o's website. Building on an Open Source platform, Sierra implemented a content management system for http://www.kawaiahao.org, which allows Kawaiaha'o to easily update information on their website, publish their monthly newsletter, and to give each of their ministries a safe, secure space to discuss their activities.

Working with a local production company, Shooters, and Kawaiaha'o's on-site IT staff, Sierra helped to design a production pipeline to archive sermons in HD video and produce them to the internet via YouTube.

Sierra Corporation also produced the opening introductory video for http://www.kawaiahao.org and complementary Flash animation, leveraging our extensive experience in motion graphics production. Sierra Corporation's huge range of in-house talent, from programming, to art direction, to video production for TV and film, allowed us to become a bridge between Kawaiaha'o Church and our local partners, to provide Kawaiaha'o the best possible results for their web presence.
